UPDATE: Tickets for the YEEZY Season 3 show at Madison Square Garden have been listed on Ticketmaster and will go on pre-sale tomorrow. Tickets will be available to the general public beginning Friday.
Following months of rumors and speculation, several German media outlets have confirmed that Kanye West’s highly anticipated album, SWISH, will premiere during his YEEZY Season 3 presentation on February 11. The unveiling of both projects will take place at New York’s famed Madison Square Garden and like the previous seasons, will be streamed live in theaters around the world.
Those in Germany can look forward to the screening at Cineworld theaters, while a global list of theaters hosting the presentation is expected to release in the coming days at tickets.kanyewest.com.
Reddit users are already offering their thoughts on what the presentation might entail, including one optimistic user by the name of ewokfinale suggesting:
For those who don’t know, this is the same set up he’s done for both of his shows in the past: The show happens live and in theaters, then once all models have gone through and line up, Kanye’s premiered a new song. First it was Wolves, then Fade.
It’s different since this time it’s supposed to be the whole album. I think we’ll have a song premiere at the show again, maybe Nina Chop or whatever the first track is supposed to be, then after the show, the album will be available for download.
My other wilder idea is that Season 3 will be a live performance of the entire album, with choreography and a fashion show all enveloped in it maybe similar to the 808’s concert… SWISH: The Musical!
As always, we’ll be sure to keep you posted as we hear more.
